School Dramas, part 1

Hello Everyone,
sorry I haven't been on much, I have been busy at school and I thought I would share with you a story.
So I had this teacher one time and if you asked a question he would role his eyes or sigh loudly. Like, you are our teacher. This is YOUR job! I am not smart and you are, so share your smartness with me so I can become smart and you can feel good with yourself because you have just shaped the future into being an intelligent one.
Now the whole reason for this post is that I strongly dislike this class now but I want to get good grades in it. However this teacher is making that very hard because every time I show work to him he is disappointed with it, which does not help improve my grades it just makes me feel like i am terrible at it.
If you are a teacher, please don't be like this. Have fun. I know that teens are annoying etc. but seriously if you are nice and respect us; we will respect you.

So as this was a bit of a rant and not a happy post; I thought I would share a joke with you.
Q. What is red and bad for your teeth?
A. A brick

Have a lovely day or night,

Happy Aussie Day

Happy Australia Day
Has anyone ever watched the credits on Finding Nemo? It is based in Australia, so I thought it had some relevance in a way to today.

Any who, I highly recommend you watch it. after the credits there is a little funny thing which I only learnt about in the past few weeks.

Also  Mike Wazowski makes an appearance and at the very end.

I hope fellow Aussies had a great day filled with BBQ's and cricket and for 18+ beer. I hope everyone else had a great day as well.

Mission nearly accomplished

G'day s cool people,
The past two days have just been AGGHHH! Two ten hour days of painting wouldn't be so bad if it was colourful and creative painting, but no: boring, simple, singlular, colour of an extremely light grey (that suits the house lovely) but Frustrating to paint on.
We have so far done about six coats on the bathroom walls and there is still a greenish tinge lingering colour left behind by the refusing to be defeated bright lime green that originally covered the walls. The list of things we need to do just keep growing and we have one extra day to finish luckily.

I thought as this has been a very difficult and exhausting challenge to renovate the interior of this house in 2-3 weeks to the best of our ability; I thought I would share my top 5 things that helped me survive and keep motivated most of the time, and possibly help you too.

First of all, mini m&m's, I would say m&m's in general of any size but I find the mini ones better. They are some how just even more amazing. You Deserve More Amazing!

Second, H2O. Make sure you stay hydrated because you don't want to become sick before you finish your project.

Third is Sleep; Get plenty of sleep so you don't loose motivation or get tired on the job. This I should have listened to more.

More food is fourth. Yes, that is correct; more food. Simply because food is amazing and gives you energy.

Fifth, music. If I did not have music I probably would have not surived life in general without this; let alone this renovation.

I hope that this list of fairly common and obvious things help you in some way.

Good Times

Hello lovely people,
Today i spent the whole day painting a house and to be quite honest, I'm sick of it already. we have been renovating for the past two or three weeks and it has to be completely finished by Sunday; how we are going to do this I don't know, but it will be done.
while we where having break I was having a look through some photos on my phone of my holiday last year to Melbourne and thought I might share some with you all.

This is a place in Victoria called Phillip Island, these particular photos are of the coast directly onto the Bass Strait. We went in the middle of winter; it was freezing and so windy, i almost lost my phone when i was trying to take the photos. We were on our way to the Fairy Penguin Parade, unfortunately we weren't able to take photos as they were in their natural habitat and if flashes were accidentally on it may scare them. however they did get very close, within a metre at some times and only about thirty centimeters tall.
I completely recommend the effort of trying to find a way to see them if on a holiday or in the area, it was a great experience and both adults kids will love it.

Now this is in Melbourne CBD,  I'm not quite sure what the name of this building is but my understanding is that it is one of the oldest and fanciest hotels in the city. when we went it was celebrating it's 130th birthday that week and therefore was lit up by colour changing lights. It was gorgeous, however if you do not find yourself in the time of a major birthday celebration even a glimpse of the inside the building on a normal serving day is lovely, the old features a beautiful.

Honestly I don't remember if this was in Melbourne or another place nearby (or not) but i had a late breakie here, The Crepe Cafe ; it was so good. Plus it was the first place I had seen these pretty glass bottles of Arizona Ice Tea in so many different flavours. YUMMY!

Last but certainly not least HAIGHS! This is a chocolate shop they had in Melbourne.
OH MY HIPPOPOTAMUS, it was good.
Every time you go in they give you a sample, I can't lie; I may have gone in more than once.
I am usually a milk chocolate person however I preferred the dark chocolate from here.
P.S. please excuse my dry fingers, it was winter and I was slack on  moisturizing.
I found part of me here, chocolate. I didn't know I liked dark chocolate this much.
There was definitely much more I didn't include so leave a comment if you have been here or would like some more recommendations.
Have a lovely day.
Mads =)

Hello

Have you ever wondered who you are? I have and decided that I would share my journey of exploring the world and life itself in order to possibly help those on the same path.
Join me if you like and I look forward to discovering the fun, sad, hilarious, confusing and most likely annoying and and sometimes embarrassing  journey of figuring out this life. :)
